Jennifer Schwartz is the owner of Jennifer Schwartz Gallery and the creator and curator of the online project, The Ten (www.thetenphoto.com). Next Spring she will be driving around the country in a 1977 VW bus (affectionately named Lady Blue) bringing art to the people as part of her ongoing arts engagement project, the Crusade for Collecting (www.crusadeforcollecting.com).
Jennifer Schwartz Gallery is a mission-driven fine art photography gallery based in Atlanta, Georgia with two primary goals – to support photographers and to create collectors. The gallery's innovative programming and exhibitions work to both promote and develop the careers of talented, emerging, contemporary photographers and to educate and cultivate a new crop of collectors. The gallery is passionate and committed to the mission of the Crusade and feels strongly that the key to reaching a new audience is to create cutting-edge and engaging experiences around art.
Jennifer Schwartz co-founded the Roundtable Review program, and she regularly participates in portfolio reviews such as PhotoNOLA, PhotoLucida, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, FotoFest and others. She was invited as a curator to the Lishui Photo Festival in Lishui, China last November, and travels around the country giving talks, guest-lecturing at universities, leading workshops and hosting photographic retreats.
